ITINERARY AND OTHER DETAILS

 

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu Airport and transfer to your choice KTM hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu sight-seeing and Trek preparation.

Day 03: Fly from Kathmandu to lukla (2840 m.) Trek to Phakding (2660m).

Day 04: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar(3440 m)

Day 05: Rest day in Namche Bazaar

Day 06: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3860m)

Day 07: From Tengboche to Dingboche (4460 m)

Day 08: Dingboche to Chhukung Valley (4750m)

Day 09: Rest day in Chhukung valley.

Day 10: Chhukung valley to Kangmata pass (5535 m) and Lobuche (4940 m)

Day 11: Lobuche to Everest Base Camp (5555 m) vid Gorakshep and back to Gorak Shep (5170 m)

Day 12: Trek to Kala Patthar and dessert to Lobuche

Day  13: Trek to Dzongla (4830 m) from Lobuche.

Day 14: Dzongla to Chola pass (5368 m) and to Thanghak ( 4680 m)

Day 15: Trek to Gokyo (4800 m)

Day 16: Terk to Gokyori and back to Gokyo and stay overnight.

Day 17: Trek from Gokyo to Renjola (5360 m)

Day 18: Marling to Namche Bazzar

Day 19: Trek to Lukla

Day 20: Back to Kathmandu via flight and Rest for the day

Day 21: Departure from Kathmandu Airport to desired destination

  • Equipment Recommended for the Trek

    Not many people are used to walking (or breathing) thousands of meters over sea level. Thus, for a stress free and successful trekking trip, we recommend the following packing list for you. Remember, this is just a guideline. But we do strongly recommend these items as a most.

     Upper Body (above hips)

    • 1 Hat or scarf (preferably large to protect your face from the sun)
    • 1 Fleece hat or balaclava to protect your head
    • 1 Sunglasses with UV protection is recommended
    • 2 T-shirts
    • 2 Light weight thermal tops
    • 1 Fleece jacket or pullover
    • 1 Fleece Wind-Stopper jacket (optional)
    • 1 Waterproof shell jacket for snow fall
    • 1 Down vest/jacket*
    • 2 Gloves (Lightweight and heavyweight) Or Mittens (Waterproof)

    Lower Body:

    • 2 Hiking shorts
    • 2 Under Attires
    • 1 Long Lightweight cotton khakis
    • 1 Light and expedition weight thermal bottoms
    • 1 Waterproof shell pants
    • 2 Thin, lightweight inner socks
    • 2 Thick, warm wool hiking socks
    • 1 Hiking boots with spare laces
    • 1 Camp shoes (sneakers and/or sandals)
    • 1 Gaiters for hiking in winter to the base camp

    Accessories:

    • 1 Sleeping bag rated to zero Degree *
    • 1 Trekking Bags/Duffel bag *
    • Basic First Aid Kit (Optional: The company will provide it)
    • Large air tight plastic bags – for keeping items dry inside trek bag
    • 1 Daypack (approximately 2500 to 3000 cubic inches)
    • 1 set of Trekking Poles
    • 2 Water bottle or camel bag
    • Toiletries (Small wash towel, Toilet papers etc)
    • Ear Plug (For unwanted noise if any during nights)

    Toiletries:

    • 1 medium sized quick drying towel
    • 1 Tooth brush/paste (biodegradable recommended)
    • Multipurpose soap (biodegradable recommended)
    • Deodorants
    • Nail clippers
    • Face and body moisturizer
    • Feminine hygiene products
    • Small mirror
    • Wet wipes (baby wipes)
    • Tissue /toilet roll
    • Anti-bacterial hands wash

    Extra accessories (Optional)

    • Binoculars
    • Trail Map/Guide book
    • Journal & Pen
    • Pencils and small notebooks
    • Travel game i.e. chess, backgammon, scrabble
    • Swim suit if the trek includes stay at hotels in Kathmandu
  • IMPORTANT NOTE :

    The Guest’s safety is one number one priority while travelling with us. Please be advised that your guide/team leader has the authority to cancel or change any part of the itinerary if the situation calls for it. There are many things that cannot be predicted during a trip. Since we will be travelling at higher altitudes than you are used to, weather conditions, health of a trip member, unexpected natural phenomenons might require us to change the plans for safety’s sake. The team leader/guide will try to make sure that the trip will follow the itinerary, but please make up your mind beforehand that you might have to be flexible if deemed necessary.
